Face Coverings Required

In accordance with Gov Brown’s executive order requiring face coverings in public beginning Thursday, August 13, face coverings will now be required inside Horizon Community Church buildings. Children under 5 years old are exempt and medical exemptions for face coverings listed in the Executive Order will be honored at Horizon Community Church.

Please bring your own face covering as we will not be able to provide one for everyone in attendance. If you are not comfortable wearing a face covering, we invite you to join us at a Horizon Online service.

Presenters on stage with proper physical distancing will not be required to wear a face covering.

Registration is no longer required to attend an in-person service at Horizon Community Church, but our building capacity limits are still in place.

Will Horizon Online still be available?

For the past several months, we’ve been grateful for the ability to worship together at Horizon Online, and we encourage you to continue to attend online if you or a family member doesn’t feel well, or if you’re just not ready to attend church at a physical location. You’re part of the Horizon Community Church family no matter where you choose to attend!

Horizon Online is also a great option if you want to invite a friend to join you! Starting at 9:30am PT on Sunday, you can head to live.horizoncommunity.church to experience worship, the message, and the community of your church family through live chat and prayer. You can also find an online community on our Facebook Page and our YouTube channel on demand.

What about kids and youth programs?

Horizon Kids is opening November 8th for all ages!

Sunday night YTH programs have resumed in-person gatherings and do not require reservations at this time. The same safety and health protocols that are in place for our weekend services will apply to YTH services – appropriate personal distancing, sanitization, etc. Don’t forget—your YTH students can stay tuned to YTH on Instagram and YouTube for content that speaks directly to what they are experiencing.

Let's Work Together To Stay Healthy

What We’re Doing:

  • There are posted signs to remind us all of the proper hygiene practices and to join us online if you have experienced symptoms or are at risk of Covid-19
  • Our auditorium capacities will be closely monitored
  • Once an auditorium reaches capacity, attendees will be directed to an overflow space (if available) or they will be directed to attend the next available service
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building.
  • All Horizon services will be as touchless as possible and all high-volume areas will be thoroughly sanitized between services.
  • No water fountains will be open or usable.
  • No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the back of the auditorium for guests who want to give in person. We recommend online giving in this time.
  • To reduce touchpoints, we encourage you to connect with us digitally at horizoncommunity.church/connect.

How You Can Help:

  • If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us at live.horizoncommunity.church.
  • Please wash your hands, use hand sanitizer often, and mitigate a sneeze or cough.
  • Maintain a distance of six or more feet between yourself and other guests.
  • Please respect the personal health decisions of others.
