There are many opportunities to connect with others at Horizon. From church services to stage of life ministries, social gatherings to Life Groups, local service projects to missions, there’s always something going on at Horizon.

The Christian life was meant to be lived in community. Besides, life is better together. So check out the opportunities to connect with others here at Horizon, and get connected today!

Horizon loves kids! We have specialized care and ministry for children. All of our services have ministries for birth through age 5. Some of our services also have ministries for Kindergarten through 5th grade – contact your church office for details. Our staff and volunteers work to make this a safe and fun environment for children to learn about Jesus and would love to talk to you about getting your children involved.

Horizon Youth middle and high school students have their own services. Additionally, we offer Life Groups, monthly activities, quarterly camps and retreats, and annual missions trips, all designed just for middle and high school students! Our hope is to connect students with each other, and the love of Jesus, so they will grow in their faith and be unleashed into ministry and service.

Want to get connected in meaningful relationships with others? Want to grow in your faith and get a deeper understanding of God’s word? Then Life Groups are the right place for you. Life Groups meet for 10-week segments in host homes in the fall, winter, and spring.

Horizon Singles celebrates single adults and lets them know we care.  Join us for church Sundays at 9:45am on the Tualatin Campus, and for our Singles group at 11:15am.

Horizon Women facilitates opportunities for women to connect and encourage each other. We have several ongoing women’s groups as well as events designed for women of all ages.

Several times each year Horizon Men hosts events to connect guys, help you grow in your faith, and address the issues men face, so that we can be the husbands, fathers, and sons that honor God.

We love to worship God through music. Music has the power to move us, and when it’s directed toward God, that music allows us to connect with God in ways our words alone sometimes can’t. Music plays an important role in all of our ministries and services. Use your musical talent to worship and lead others.

At Horizon, we are all about doing life together. This means celebrating life’s victories, and comforting each other during difficult times. We’ve provided information below to better serve you!

We have caring pastors who are available to talk with you regarding challenges, hurts, or other issues you may experience. Our pastors offer Christ centered, Biblical, outcome-based guidance, sharing practics and truths from God’s Word in dealing with the circumstances of life.

In our sessions we follow these steps as a guide in our process::

  1. We identify the issue you are facing.
  2. We identify the Biblical term and/or understanding of the issue.
  3. We look to the scriptures for guidance in dealing with the issue.
  4. We help you discover how to apply that guidance in your life and assign homework accordingly.
  5. We celebrate recovery and glorify God for His help in resolving the issues.

Please CONTACT US to schedule an appointment.

Come for a time of worship & Bible-based, gender-specific groups that deal with specific areas of need. LEARN MORE

For professional, specialized, or long term counseling, outside the scope of the pastoral guidance we have available, we provide referral information for caring professional counselors in our area.
